K9 Saltwater Flies

These flies are the very best of quality, tied with the kind of skill that comes from decades of fly tying and a demand for the best materials. We have been working with Kostas for several years now and know just how demanding he is when it comes to sourcing quality materials. It takes a lot meets to get his seal of approval on even the simplest thing like a saddle feather. So, we can confidently say that his flies are constructed of the very best components, and tied with great love and skill.

The Clouser is a proven saltwater fly pattern that will catch a myriad different saltwater species. These are tied sparssely with top quality bucktail, Gamakatsu hooks, just a little flash and a pearl braid body that is set in UV resin so it will take all that punishment as it’s dragged along the bottom.

Supplied as 3 flies of the one size, these are available in two sizes, with 1/0 and 2/0 Clousers kept in stock. The 2/0 are tied with a heavier dumbull pseudo eye for achieving more depth, supplied with a red pupil so you can easily tell them apart. See the gallery image for reference (box not supplied).

They are, of course, tied on Gamakatsu hooks for no nonsense strength when it comes to big fish pulling hard after the hookset. There’s a reason why these hooks are the industry standard for these types of flies. And there’s a reason why they are used in K9 Saltwater Flies.

Of course, if you can’t find a product you are specifically looking for, get in touch and we will see if it can be sourced, and kept in stock. Plus, you can keep up to date with new releases through our newsletter and social media outlets.
