Description

The Daiichi 1650 is a 2X heavy version of the 1640. Great for a range of uses including, but not limited too egg patterns and tube flies. It also works a treat as a trailer hook for articulated flies like predators and intruders, not just as tube fly hooks, which was why I first started using them as an alternative to octopus style intruder hooks with upturned eyes, when I was looking to tie smaller trout flies to swing. Heavy wire, with a wide gape, this hook sets easily and stays set.

Use these hooks with Senyo’s Thin Intruder Trailer Wire for small articulated trout streamers with plenty of movement.

Bronze, round bend, straight-eye, 2X-short shank, 2X heavy wire, reversed, forged
Made in Japan.
25 hooks in a pack.
