Description

For those of your who know of the magical Chadwisck’s 477 colour yarn and it’s importance as the main ingredient in Sawyer’s Killer Bug, you’ll be thrilled to know that the new Upavon Chadwicks 477 Substitute is the closes thing we have come across to the original, and now almost extinct yarn.

Upavon by name, Avon by nature. Born on the banks of the River Avon, the team at Upavon have developed this Chadwick’s 477 substitute as close as possible to the original material used by the legendary Frank Sawyer. Traditionally used to tie Sawyer’s Killer Bug, this woollen yarn is equally effective on emergers and nymphs. The translucent buggy effect makes for an excellent natural looking material for nymphs, dries and emerger patterns.

At least 1 metre per pack
Presented on reusable yarn winder
