Description

Nymph Skins makes great wing cases and when wrapped makes segmented bodies. I also like to use it folded and tied down for realistic shell backs on stonefly nymph patterns. Kiley’s Nymph Skins from Hareline Dubbin have soft but durable stretchy qualities are ideal for a variety of nymphs. You can use them to create thicker texture and wing cases in place of scud back when you want more depth to that segment of your fly. Or, use them for their intended purpose and wrap your nymph bodies to create staggered, tapered and segmented bodies that look great. Build up the under-body beneath the nymph skin to add shape and contour and bring added life to the finished look with the application of additional colour by permanent marker.

Kileys nymph skins are an improvement of the old Hareline Dubbin Nymph Stretch Skin. A better material and bigger range of colours on offer. The great color varieties with new colours now added to the range mean there is a nymph skin to suit pretty much every bug you are trying to emulate..
