Veiard Glo-Bug Egg Yarn is an ideal material for tying dense egg fly patterns with ease. This type of fly was originally used for catching steelhead in fall run, but in modern fly fishing, they are used to catch other fish such as carp, grass carp, and common salmon-like fish such as trout and grayling. Egg Fly flies are suitable for fishing both on rivers and, of course, still waters (static BUNG method).

It is ideal to layer this wool by successively tying dense bundles to the curve of the hook and then cut it - shape it into the desired round Egg shape. Mixing two colours in teh bunch give you greater variety and more realistic trout egg imitations.
