Troutlore Perfect Possum Dub - Rusty Spinner

Perfect Possum Dub from Troutlore is the dubbing that we have wanted for some time and could not find. So, we made it ourselves!

This is a perfect go-between for both dry flies and nymphs, and it's right at home on wet flies too. Perfect Possum Dub is a blend of spiky guard hairs, soft underfur and long hair fibers that can be wrapped in a tight dubbing noodle, or teased out for length. It is incredible soft and easy to work with, so we know you'll enjoy tying with this stuff as much as we do.

Every pack is hand blended and combed out that 'perfect' consistency. We dye our possum pelts in house and blend several colours for each pack to ensure you're not getting one solid colour, but a variety of tones adjacent to the base colour. The result is a more naturally finish fly with added texture no matter how you choose to apply your dubbing.

We're now using this on our Rusty Spinners, October Caddis, and Mayfly Cripples, the latter of which have already been proving successful at the start of trout season and expect to see more results in the coming months. 

New colours will be added to the Perfect Possum Dub range in the coming months, so watch this space!
