Thread Zap II Cautery Tool - Spare Tip

Replacement tips are now available for the Thread Zap II Cautery Tools. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, when you burn through a tip, just pull it out and slide a new one on! It's that simple! 

The Thread Zap II tip heats instantly with a push of a button. It gets VERY hot VERY fast, so be careful. Then, it trims, burns or melts thread, feathers and furs with one touch... no more frayed thread ends!

NOTE : If tip is loose when inserted, remove and bend the arms slightly be re-inserting. This will add pressure tot he contacts and hold the tip firm.

Extra-fine tip allows for precision application - ideal for finishing bead-weaving and stringing projects.
