Gripop Stonefly Nymph ‘TieYourOwn’ Kit

This is a complete tying kit with all the materials required to tie 20 flies in this Gripop Stonefly Nymph pattern. Plus, there will be lots left over, including 16 more hooks, so more beads can be added at a later date to get even more flies from these materials.

The Gripopterygidae is a type of stonefly found in the southern reaches of Australia, and one we regularly come across in the boulder strewn streams around the Eildon area. If you're thinking the Rubicon, or similar waters, that's where you'll find them,

This pattern has been designed to get deep, fast. Making it ideal for deep pockets in faster waters. The short video can be found on our Facebook or Instagram pages as I write this. Although not necessary, but very helpful to completing the glossy top to the wing case, we recommend your choice of thin UV resin to complete the fly (not included in kit). Although, head cement could also be used.
