This is a complete tying kit with all the materials required to tie 36 flies in this Flying Foam Ant pattern. Plus, there will be materials left over, so if you grab more hooks and hackle will see you tying even more flies.

With spring and summer storms happening at the moment, and muggy evenings, we always see good number of ants drifting down the mountain valleys. It can be like a snowstorm at times, they can fall that thick. So, you WANT to be sure to have an ant pattern or two in your fly box. The one feature Hollow Dub, Foam AND Hackle, so it floats! Tied with the wings protruding out the rear to ensure the fish see them, and a combination of black and cinnamon/brown tones, it matches most of the ants we see in Victoria at this time of year.
