Chuck’N’Duck UV Enhancer Flash is a newly available, fine flash material that has a load of uses. UV Enhancer Flash is great for almost anything from Ribbing to just adding some to a Tail or Wing, UV Fibres just scream fish!
This is a fine, 1/69", fibre that is like the common synthetic flash bou that is uses in a lot of streamer tails. It's also great for the smaller flies for ribs or wings and tails on lures. We use it for ribbing midge patterns, like the Shipman's Buzzer, as well as for flash in big cod flies, like a Buford.
It's also very good for cheeks or ribs on buzzers and when either varnished or hit with some UV Resin, it pops even more. And it can be used to simply light up a bare hook shank on a curved hook under an extended body dry fly too!
Chuck’N’Duck are located just out of Belfast and have developed a quality range of fly tying materials that we are proud to offer here in Australia. Andy from Chuck’N’Duck says their mission is to provide top quality tying materials to put you that one step closer to catching that prized fish. He has a passion for dubbing, which is why a Troutlore and Chuck’N’Duck partnership was a no brainer. It takes a special kind of person to want to spend all day mixing hair, fur and synthetics in the chase for the next great blend. That’s why we are happy to offer a product created from the creative mind of Andy McClelland. He doesn’t sell any materials that he wouldn’t use himself.
Of course, if you want to create all sorts of natural looking streamer fly patterns, then our ever growing range of natural hairs and furs is the ideal place to start for something different to the synthetic option. Don’t just settle on looking in the Hare & Rabbit category when you’re chasing quality winging and body furs, check out the Specialty Species Category of the Troutlore Flytying Store as well. Plus, we keep a great selection of Calf and Bucktail as well, in a big range of colours to take care of your freshwater and saltwater flytying needs. If you can’t find a product you are specifically looking for, get in touch and we will see if it can be sourced, and kept in stock.
