Baetis Croupion de Canard feathers are now available in Australia. The Spanish prefer this pronunciation, meaning Duck Rump, to the French who simply call these feathers Cul de Carnard, or Duck's Butt! Whichever way you label it, these packs offer amazing quality CDC feathers that are ideal for a range of dry fly and nymph presentations.

CDC feathers grow near a duck’s preen gland. Naturally waterproof and buoyant, they are incredibly lifelike on the water. The description “Cul de Canard” is attributed to 1950’s era French tier tier Henry Bresson. In English Cul de Canard translates to “butt of the duck”.

These feathers offer great, natural movement and have a naturally high floatation due to the oils and the structure of the feather. Dyed colour options feature longer plumes than the natural, which are sourced from wild ducks.
