This week, we've uploaded The Blob Fly video, because at some stage I was going to have to tie this fly. It's one of those fly patterns that doesn't really imitate anything natural, yet it still catches fish. 

Sure, you could bang on about how it represents zooplankton and suchlike, but it is more often than not fished as a trigger pattern. A big, bright, eggy, blobby looking thing that is going through the water at speed... what hungry fish is going to turn THAT down? So, let's see just how easy it is too tie the Blob Fly.
