SUPER SIMPLE CADDIS GRUB NYMPH PATTERN TIED BY ROB GEE FROM TROUTLORE FLY TYING STORE AUSTRALIA

Super Simple Caddis Grub Fly Tying Video Now Available

Here's a fun one, that is quick to tie, and easy to fish. In fact, this would make a great 'first fly' for anyone starting out tying flies. It deals with thread and dubbing techniques, and doesn't get too complicated.

Once you've got the process down, there's no reason why you couldn't whip these up in a couple of minutes. So, filling a row in your fly box is a breeze!

Fished as a point fly on a double nymph rig, as a dropper in shallower waters, or as a naked nymph presented to sighted cruising fish, this Super Simple Caddis Grub will catch so many fish, you'll think it should be more difficult to tie.

And, if you're like me and love punishing yourself under the willows in summer, this flu, whilst not a true Willow Grub imitation, will still get a look in by some of the more curious fish. It has the required 'plop' when it hits the water, so you're likely to turn a few heads under the trees!

I hope you enjoy this one and tie up a few yourselves.
