Shipping to United States Suspended until further notice

As a result of the recently introduced changes to the import tariff requirements set out in US Executive Order 14324, our shipping partner, Australia Post, has joined a number of international postal operators to temporarily suspend partial postal services to the United States (US) and Puerto Rico, effective immediately until further notice.
This decision has been made to ensure compliance with the new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. Specifically, the requirement for duties and taxes to be prepaid on all shipments prior to their arrival in the US.
The key changes are as follows:
1. Suspension of the de minimis USD$800 threshold exemption.
2. New mandatory customs declaration requirements.
3. Duties for imported goods to be collected prior to goods entering the US.
After receiving this information, we have suspended shipping options to the Unites States on our website from Tuesday 26th August 2025. US customers will no longer be able to complete the checkout until Australia Post have implemented a solution to this giant economic mozza ball created by the Trump administration.
All orders processed and shipped before 26th August 2025 have been lodged and are en route for delivery.
On behalf of everyone in Australia, who has been let down by our spineless government in these trade issues, we would like to apologise to our valued customers in the United States. As soon as a viable shipping solution has been initiated by Australia Post, we will resume sending you guys the fly tying materials you all love.
If you have anything nasty to say about the new tariff system, please feel free to leave you contempt in the comments section below.
