Thes Hareline Strung Saddle Hackle feathers come in 1\/4 oz. packages. These are the finest hackle for tying average size steelhead and Atlantic salmon flies. They are also the favorite hackle for traditional streamer wings, saltwater and bass flies, as well as large trout patterns and native flies for species like murray cod and yellowbelly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost packages contain feather hackles appropriate to tie flies as small as about a #10 and as large as a #1 when palmering. Some hackles have more web and some have less. We find that, on average, something like 2\/3 of the hackles in a package are useful hackle feathers to use on a tail for larger streamers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese strung hackles provide some hackles for Buggers, some for hackle collars, some for tails, and throats.
